Paint Decontamination

WHAT ARE CONTAMINANTS?

  • Contaminants consist of any airborne chemical compounds, iron particles, adhesives, industrial fallout, rail dust, acid rain, road tar and grime, tree sap, over spray, that are embedded in the paint surface.
  • These contaminants create a rough non slick finish on your paintwork and if not removed properly can penetrate and /or bond to the paint and overtime eat into the clear coat causing permanent damage.

1st step in our decontamination process is to thoroughly spray IRON-X onto the vehicles paintwork, this product removes small contaminants and iron fillings and creates a more effective clay bar process

After IRON-X is applied and rinsed we remove all other contaminants embedded onto the surface with our high quality clay bars. This is followed by another hand wash to remove all particles from the paint.

The results of our decontamination process will leave the paint feeling super slick like glass and can insure that your vehicle is 100% clean.

Paint Correction

Paint Correction

Paint correction refers to the process of removing imperfections and defects in a vehicles finish and restoring it to a better than new state. This includes but is not limited to swirls, scratches,"spider webbing", oxidation, and haze. We offer 4 stages of paint correction, all 4 stages will drastically enhance the overall appearance, clarity, and shine to your exterior finish. We take pride in our ability to bring out the full potential of your vehicles appearance. If you are looking to restore the shine and gloss in your vehicles paintwork than this auto detailing service is the perfect candidate.

Stage 1

  • One step polish is performed with a foam pad to remove light defects (swirls, scratches, oxidation)
  • Restores shine, depth, and clarity to the paintwork
  • This auto detailing service will not remove heavy defects and scratches but will truly enhance the overall appearance of any vehicle. It is also an effective service for new vehicles to bring out their full potential

Stage 2

  • In order to remove heavier defects and scratches we must use stronger abrasives such as polishes, compounds, and polishing pads in order to achieve the desired finish.
  • A hybrid cutting polish/compound will be used with a microfiber cutting pad on our initial step to remove medium-heavy defects in the paintwork.
  • This is followed by a finishing polish and foam pad to give the finish amazing clarity and shine.
  • *We recommend this service to any vehicle that has never been polished.

Stage 3

  • At stage 3 we really begin to take out those heavy defects, by doing three steps it allows us to cut deeper into the clear coat while still giving the paint true clarity and shine.
  • Non diminishing abrasive compound is used with a microfiber pad to remove heavy defects and level the clear coat out more evenly.
  • Next step will be polishing the vehicle with our classic polish and a foam pad to refine our first compounding step.
  • Finishing polish and foam pad is then worked in to finish off the correction giving the paintwork true shine and clarity.

Stage 4

  • *This is for the enthusiast who want to make there vehicle look as good as possible.
  • Non diminishing abrasive compound is used with a microfiber pad to remove heavy defects and level the clear coat out more evenly.
  • A hybrid cutting polish/compound will be used with a microfiber cutting pad on our initial step to remove medium-heavy defects in the paintwork.
  • Next step will be polishing the vehicle with our classic polish and a foam pad to refine our first compounding step.
  • Finishing polish and foam pad is then worked in to finish off the correction giving the paintwork true shine and clarity.
  • * If any of these services are chosen by a customer we always recommend applying some form of protection so that the finish achieved in paint correction is maintained for a longer period of time. We offer many different options for your vehicle when it comes to protection such as waxes, sealants, and ceramic coatings.

Wax & Sealant Application

  • *Waxes and sealants are the traditional forms of protection and when applied bring out a deep lustrous shine.
  • Waxes are applied to add extra shine to the paintwork as well as protect. This will also make maintenance cleaning a lot easier.
  • Waxes only remain on the paint for 3-6 months depending on the conditions that the vehicle is exposed to, so in order for them to be effective they have to be re applied regularly.
  • Sealants are very similar to waxes except a sealant is made up of polymers that create a stronger bond to the vehicles paintwork.
  • Sealants typically last 8-12 months depending on the conditions.
  • * We recommend a sealant over a wax because of the difference in protection and shine, it is overall a better choice and the price difference is very little.
